Independence Centers Clubhouse Programs are unique not only because of what we do, but because of why and how we do it. We have a deep and abiding belief in the potential and productivity of people with even the most severe psychiatric disabilities.

Employment Services

"Work is essential...it is the glue that binds us to society."

Work gives us purpose and connects us to those around us. But for people with mental illnesses, it is difficult to find and keep a good job. Because of this, employment is one of the fundamental building blocks of the Clubhouse, and Independence Center strives to give every person who wants it a chance to work at a real job.
