There are many facilities that advertise they accept your insurance. The intake process is a very stressful process for clients & families. Often facilities utilize these intake times to encourage admission if needed. Unfortunately they also utilize some deceptive practices regarding insurance coverage. To have the best coverage by your insurer the facility must be an in-network provider. There are facilities that know they are considered out-of-network providers to your insurance company. This out-of-network status means that if your insurer agrees to cover the treatment at all, it will be at a much less percentage than an in-network facility. Therefore they require the client to make a large cash deposit prior to treatment (thousands of dollars). These practices lead the client to pay for treatment that would normally be covered at an in-network treatment center like ours. The Eating Disorder Recovery Centers treatment options are contracted with most major insurance companies. In addition to complying with all the state requirements for licensure to provide quality care we also comply with all our contracted insurance carriers regulations. A list of these insurance companies is on this web site. Please call us to discuss all of your insurance questions. .
