The late Frank Deatherage, established Missouri Ornamental Iron Co. Inc., family owned and operated, in 1963. He expressed his passion for working with metal to create custom designed ornate railings, fences and gates that would be beautiful, but would also be durable for decades. This is the philosophy that guides us today. Now operated by his son, we continue to provide the same high quality product at a fair price with the same fine service and quality you expect from a family owned company.
We are active members of the HBA (Home Builders Association), NOMMA (National Ornamental Manufactured Metal Association), and the Missouri Chamber of Commerce.

Missouri Ornamental Iron Co Inc. fabricates and installs custom and standard designed ornamental iron in the St. Louis metropolitan area and a 50-mile radius, including Illinois.
Our salesmen will meet with you at the office in our newly remodeled showroom, at your home or business or at the location of your project. This service is always free of charge.
We recommended our products be installed by one of our experienced installation crews in order to insure the maximum life of the product. Iron and steel are heavy materials and, if not installed properly and securely, can be dangerous.
Missouri Ornamental Iron Co. Inc. is fully licensed and insured and carries workers compensation insurance on all employees.
All our products are shop prime painted after fabrication. Most railings, fences and gates are designed to fit into our "Dip-Tank" which provides the very best coating possible. If some fabricated items do not fit into the tank, they are sprayed, using the same primer paint. Although the primer paint has a nice semi-gloss look after it has dried, it is highly recommended that you contract with a professional painter to apply a finish coat of paint after it is installed. This will insure that you receive the longest life and beauty possible.
