A Gathering Place Massage School offers massage therapy classes for licensure and national certification. We are a premier school and clinic in metro St. Louis. Become like family as we explore healing modalities for the whole person, body-mind-spirit.

Welcome to A Gathering Place Massage School and Clinic
Our Center, located in Maryland Heights, provides programs in Massage Therapy and Bodywork for those interested in massage therapy licensure and national certification.
We become like family with our small class sizes and High pass ratio on National Boards. In 2008, our students had a 100% Pass Ratio
for the National Board Examination. They are getting excellent jobs in the massage and bodywork profession. Our students and

We are accredited through the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). We are state licensed by the MO Board of Therapeutic Massage and certified to operate by the Missouri Department of Higher Education. ACCET is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

We have monthly Community Outreach evenings (the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 7:00-9:00pm) offering healing and information on topics in stress reduction, healing modalities and various forms of bodywork. These Outreach evenings are free for the public to come and see what we love to do!
In addition to our educational programs, we offer Treatment Sessions in Massage Therapy and many types of healing modalities by licensed professionals and by students who are learning to put their skills into practice. We are easy to access from anywhere in Metro St. Louis.
Treatment sessions include the following Healing Modalities: Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, LaStone Therapy (Hot Stone Massage), Vibro-Acoustic Sound Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Energywork (Reiki, Quantum Touch, and Pranic), Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Body wraps and many more. We do specialty work with pain patients and cancer patients. Gift Certificates are available!

Our students are active in giving back to the community. Annually, we participate in community service projects with the following groups:

Giving back to the Community, through our donations of massage and tip money, allows us to support others in need. Purpose and Programs
At A Gathering Place, we are more than a Massage Therapy School. We are also a Healing Center. We understand that our thoughts and our feelings affect what happens in the physical body. We use experiential exercises, classes and seminars, our Community Outreach, and our treatment sessions to explore ways to find more freedom in our consciousness and our lives. We are at the cutting edge of such treatments using Sound Therapy and introducing Consciousness Work, such as seen in the Trailer for the movie "BreakThrough". Check out more on this in Our Vision.
We offer Continuing Ed classes in Healing Touch, Indian Head Massage (Ayurvedic Treatments), Reflexology, Structural Integration, and Medical Massage throughout the year. Check out our class offerings at Continuing Education.

To graduate responsible, professional massage therapists who can serve and educate the community

To prepare students to successfully pass the national massage therapy exam, sponsored by the
National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)

Our students continually demonstrate these goals as they successfully pass
their National Boards. We have a 97% Pass Ratio (cumulative) on National Boards!
