COMING SOON:

Our Church Family Thanksgiving Dinner is Wednesday evening, November 17th, at 6:30 pm. There is no charge for the traditional Thanksgiving meal, but reservations are requested by calling the Church office at 314 846-8511. The theme for the evening is Count Your Many Blessings. The after-dinner program will include singing, special music, a brief message, and observance of the Lord's Supper. You are invited to this wonderful holiday tradition at First Baptist Church.
Sunday Night Praise and Worship is scheduled for Sunday evening, November 21st, at 6:00 pm. Favorite hymns, special music, and readings will be highlighted by the Jim Brandt Family Trio, (Jim, Carla, and Sharon). Let's just Praise the Lord together.
COMING IN DECEMBER: December 5th, MIssionary guests Ron and Rhonda Haynes from Guatemala at 6:00 pm; December 19th, Cantata One Incredible Moment by the Church Choir at 5:00, followed by the Church family dinner at 6:00 pm; December 24th, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 5 pm; and December 26th, no evening worship activities.
COMING IN JANUARY: Friday, January 28th, Prairie Harvest & Wild Game Dinner. (Reservations are required.)

You will note that some features do not function from time to time, and occasionally, some event stays on the website too long. Please excuse us--our site is maintained by volunteers.
We celebrated our 50th anniversary as a Church in 2009. We are a Southern Baptist Church in the heart of Oakville, in South St. Louis County, and we have Oakville on our hearts. Our worship style is traditional but relevant (blended), our fellowship is loving, and our passion is sharing Jesus Christ with a world that needs Him. We maintain an active prayer ministry--please let us know how we can pray for you.

Kidz Kollege at 6:30 pm (Children 4yrs.thru 6th grade) (September thru May). Kidz Kollege resumes September 8th, 2010.
Adult Prayer and Bible Study at 7:00pm, led by the Pastor
Youth Group Worship & Fellowship 6:30pm (Jr. & Sr. High Youth--year round)
Choir Practice at 8:00pm (All are welcome!)
