Since 1954, Wichita Technical Institute has offered hands-on training designed to put students to work in specialized industries. Guided by the insights of local business advisory board members, we track current and future job trends, tailoring our programs to meet market needs. Among our programs are Integrated Electronics Technology, Computer Electronics and Networking Technology, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding and Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology.
WTI graduates begin their job searches with assistance from our placement professionals, who provides referrals based on area job openings and skill needs. WTI graduates land careers in Biomedical Technology, Medical Assistant anywhere in the medical community including front office and back office support, Computer Technology, Avionics, Industrial/Residential/Commercial Refrigeration, Heating & Air Conditioning Technician, Network Administration, Communicator/Broadcasting, Communication Electronics, Industrial Electronics, and more.

The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology accredits Wichita Technical Institute. Also, the State Boards of Regents approve W.T.I. courses. W.T.I. is licensed by the States of Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, and approved for veteran training.
