Howell Appraisal Company, Inc. has been serving Banks and Lenders in the Springfield/ Southwest Missouri area since 1993. We are a leading provider of real estate valuations for the mortgage-lending marketplace. With many years of experience in the business and a staff of professionals, we have a proven track record of reducing time, efforts and costs in managing the appraisal process.

We have a staff of seven certified and 1 licensed appraisers that are knowledgeable of the Springfield and Branson areas. Our investment in training and technology has helped our company give a quality product.
Services we provide for our clients:

Mary S. Howell, SRA has a combined 22 years of experience in the field of real estate appraising and marketing. In 1982 she began work for Hobson Realtors in Marshfield MO. She listed and sold properties in the Webster County area. In 1984 she was hired by the Webster County Assessors Office as a field appraiser. Mrs. Howell advanced her career in real estate appraising by attending Drury University with Real Estate appraising classes. She was hired as a staff appraiser for Don Ihrig Company in 1986 and appraised real estate in southwest Missouri.
A member of the Appraisal Institute for over 16 years, she completed her SRA designation in 1992. She was president of the local chapter in 1997.
In 1993 she started a new company, Howell Appraisal Company.
For the past 12 years have been focused on the company’s energy to build a company of good quality personnel to provide service to our clients.
The Howell Appraisal Company, Inc. and its staff of appraisers have taken and continues to take numerous appraisal courses keeping up to date with federal and state requirements in order to provide you compliant appraisals that meet the challenges and opportunities associated with today's complex Real Estate environment.
