After 21 years, My Secret Garden is moving!

Columbia, MO, September 2, 2010 My Secret Garden is moving to 823 East Broadway, Columbia, MO on October 1, 2010. My Secret Garden is known for their distinctively different approach to floral design, for the their large variety of fresh, unique flowers and their fun, affordable giftware.
Ruth LaHue founded My Secret Garden on October 1, 1989. The business is owned and operated by the LaHue family. Every member of the family currently operating the store has a specific and important job. Steve LaHue, Ruth's husband, is remodeling the new space. Zac LaHue, Ruth's son, is one of the talented and creative floral designers. Stephanie LaHue, who is one of Ruth's three daughters, is the Vice President of My Secret Garden. Stephanie does all of the merchandise buying as well designing and executing of the visual displays throughout the entire store.
The new location will include a retail area for customers, an expanded floral design studio, and an elegant wedding consultation room on the second floor, a conference room and private offices. This location also provides less overhead costs, which allows My Secret Garden to keep affordable prices on quality floral design and merchandise.
There will be a storewide moving sale beginning September 11, 2010 at the current 16 N. 9th St. location of My Secret Garden.
The Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 pm on October 1, 2010.
