Area veterans honored at Van-Far

The Van-Far R-I School District honored military veterans with a special Veterans Day community tribute on Thursday, November 11.
Van-Far Superintendent Chris Felmlee gave the introduction to the event that featured a gymnasium filled with students, band and choir members, as well as veterans who represented many military branches.
He talked about how America values hard work and reminded those in attendance that America was created with righteous values that helps citizens be whatever they want to be.
He also shared important lines from several of Americas most sacred documents (Constitution, etc.).
