We understand that the weeks between Thanksgiving and the New Year can be especially difficult for those grieving the loss of a loved one. At this time of year, when everyone else is celebrating, those who are grieving often feel apprehensive and unsure of how to handle all the holiday activities.
Vigen Memorial Home strives to offer assistance by hosting a Holiday Remembrance Program. This is an uplifting service that honors the memory of those who have died, and offers support to those who still live.
A message of hope and suggestions for coping with the holidays will be followed by a candle lighting service. Also, a handcrafted ornament will be available for you to place on our Remembrance Tree. Following the service refreshments will be served and everyone is encouraged to stay and enjoy a time of fellowship. All those attending the program will receive resource materials on Coping with Holiday Grief along with a special thank you gift.
We hope you, your family and friends will join us for an evening of remembrance and caring support at our Holiday Remembrance Program.
