Shillington Box Company LLC is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of corrugated packaging materials including sheets, shipping containers and displays. SBC maintains a 52,000 square foot manufacturing facility and an 85,000 square foot finished-goods warehouse located in St. Louis, Missouri. The Companys clients come from a variety of industries, including the food, chemical, automotive, plastics and paper sectors, geographically concentrated around St. Louis and extending outward to include a four-state Midwest marketing area. By utilizing its own CAD/CAM design center, SBC is able to provide a unique, differentiated service for its clients, which gives the Company a strong advantage relative to other independent manufacturers in the sector.
The corrugated packaging manufacturing process is one of combining multiple plies of kraft paper into custom-sized sheets then further processing the sheets into finished packaging material. The material produced ranges from 9 inches to 140 inches and can be of either singlewall or doublewall construction, depending on the requirements of the customer. SBC manages an active inventory of paper grades ranging from 23# medium to 69# liners. This affords a complete coverage of all the certified box performance standards used in the industry.
