Dr. Theodore Rechtin was born in St. Louis in 1973. He graduated from SLUH in 1991. He went on to Indiana University for his undergraduate studies and was granted early acceptance to Indiana University School Of Dentistry. It was in his third year of dental school he met Dr. Heather. After graduation in 1998, Dr. Ted practiced dentistry in Marion, Indiana for two years. In May of 2000 Dr. Ted and Dr. Heather were married and moved back to St. Louis and started their practice together. They opened the new facility in March of 2003 with all new state-of the-art equipment and technology.

Does bleaching damage the teeth?
No. When carbamide peroxide, the active whitening agent, contacts water, hydrogen peroxide is released which whitens the teeth. Bleaching does not soften, demineralize or weaken the teeth.
