While Mr. Shipley's practice is based in Clay County, he serves the entire Kansas City Metropolitan Area, as well as most of rural Northwest Missouri, including Ray, Platte, Clinton, Caldwell and Dekalb Counties.

The Law Offices of Michael S. Shipley, LLC is limited to the representation of clients in litigation matters. Civil litigation includes claims for personal injuries or death, arising from a variety of events, such as truck or automobile accidents, or negligent medical or nursing home care. Criminal litigation involves defense of all forms of criminal charges, ranging from municipal ordinance violations to minor traffic offenses, and from more serious driving offenses and misdemeanors such as driving while intoxicated, vandalism and petty theft, to the most serious felonies involving drug and sex crimes and assaults.

We do not charge for initial consultations, and accept credit cards for clients who wish to use them. If you think we can be of service, give us a call. If we cannot help you, we will make every effort to put you in touch with someone who can.
