Blaylock Turbochargers is centrally located in the U.S. at Baxter Springs, Kansas. Since 1980, we have remanufactured* turbo components to precise specifications.
Blaylock Turbocharger, aka Blaylock Diesel Service, is a specialized turbocharger repair shop with combined total of 100 years of experience in rebuilding turbochargers and turbo parts of all makes and models, ranging from Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Komatsu, John Deere and much more. All of our reman turbos are torn down, carefully cleaned up and inspected for damage. Any damaged parts that dont meet factory specs are repaired or replaced. The shaft and compressor wheel are then assembly balanced, and new journal bearings, thrust bearings etc are put in. Our exchange or outright remanufactured turbos are all rebuilt to manufactures specification. The turbo comes with a warranty that guarantees it against material and workmanship defects. DEPENDABILITY - DIVERSITY
Blaylock Turbochargers has been in the business of remanufacture of turbochargers and turbocharger parts for almost twenty-five years. We reman turbo turbine wheels, turbo bearing housings, turbo compressor housings, turbocharger compressor wheels and turbocharger turbine housings. We reman just about any turbocharger made to date, but our speciality is heavy equipment turbochargers including but not limited to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Cummins and Detroit Diesel turbos. We reman Schwitzer, Garret, Komatsu, KKK and Brown Boveri BBV turbochargers.

We also sell new and reman automotive type turbochargers for most common car applications. We own one half of a turbocharger factory in China and we manufacture over 100 types of turbos there which we sell around the world. We have hybrid turbos for auto applications such as T25/T28 and T3/T04Es. We have started production on K03 and K04 turbochargers. We produce RR153 aftermarket turbine wheels for BBV RR153 turbos for Caterpillar 3516 engines. We make aftermarket KTR 130 turbos for Komatsu D155 & D355 equipment.

Blaylock Diesel Service, Inc. was awarded a patent for the AIT turbocharger design in Jan. 09 by the US patent office. We are actively working to perfect the performance potential of the design and have made significant progress. We are exploring the possibility of partnering with someone else to bring the design to the aftermarket as a stand alone unit that can be retrofitted to applications that did not come from the factory with VGT technology. We believe that since our design has only one additional moving part versus stock turbo's that it will be MUCH more durable than present designs. We have had a unit on a 97 Power Stroke for over 3 years now with no problems. Our earlier prototypes have been proven to perform comparably with present designs in the marketplace and we believe that our latest design will exceed anything on the market. The newest design demonstrates that we can achieve boost pressures exceeding back pressure using a single turbo originally designed for an 8 liter engine. As you can see it seems to work well with the 5.9L in a one ton, 4 wheel drive Dodge with automatic transmission.
Compare the boost vs back pressure ratios on our early AIT (adaptive inlet turbo) using an HX35 with 16 cm turbine housing and our latest version AIT . Notice in the latest version that the back pressure actually is less than boost pressure making for some awesome performance improvements.
** Please note that the back pressure gauge is put on top and boost is at the bottom in the first video clip, while the boost gauge is on top and back pressure gauge is put at the bottom on the second video clip.

The bike is equipped with Blaylock's Patent Pending Variable Throat Geometry turbocharger. This turbo is designed to reduce or eliminate turbo lag and uses ONLY ONE internal moving part to accomplish this. Rider's with experience riding other turbocharged bikes tell us that boost is basically instantaneous with no turbo lag.
So far the bike has tested in the 10's in the quarter mile at MoKan drag strip. The bike is owned by Cycle Connection the Harley dealer in Joplin, Mo. It is stock except for our proprietary turbo but was dyno tested and computer mapped by Cycle Connection.
We are now in the process of putting together kits for this bike with several cosmetic improvements such as ceramic coating, polishing, etc.
