Allen Home Care Services has been providing outstanding health care to people of all ages in their Heartland Homes since 1985. The company has always been locally owned and operated since 1985. Originally begun by Donna Allen, RN, as Allens Private Duty, the company was sold in 1997 to Roberta Lucy, RN, BSN, MA and Terri Woods, RN, MSN, EdD.
While private duty nursing is a mainstay of Allen Home Care Services, the company has expanded to a multi-disciplinary company performing home health nursing, patient advocacy and temporary staffing for local hospitals and skilled care facilities. Though the growth in ancillary programs has been significant, Allen Home Care Services is still privately owned and operated. Its team of employees act as an extended family, rendering the best possible care to patients of all ages.
Allen Home Care Services has a staff of professionals who have worked hard to build the companys outstanding reputation of uncompromising quality and service at competitive rates.
Licensing & Accreditation
Allen Home Care Services is licensed to perform private duty nursing in Missouri and Kentucky. Its licensing in Missouri includes all 114 counties and the City of St. Louis. The Kentucky Cabinet for Health Sciences has licensed Allen Home Care Services to perform private duty nursing in Ballard, Carlisle, Fulton, Hickman and McCracken counties.
Allen Home Care Services is also licensed in Missouri to perform home health care nursing, with a self-limiting service area encompassing 12 counties of southeast Missouri.
Allen Home Care Services is a member in good standing with the Missouri Alliance for Home Care. The company also holds membership in other business trade groups and private business associations.

Roberta Lucy, RN, BSN, MA purchased Allen Home Care Services after devoting over 20 years to community nursing. She had been the Clinical Director with a public corporation which provided home health nursing and other services to a multi-county area encompassing the southeast corner of Missouri. Roberta is the administrator of Allen Home Care Services.
Roberta received her diploma of nursing from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN in 1974. Her Missouri license dates from 1977. Roberta later received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau where she was graduated cum laude. She received her Masters of Science in Health Care Administration in 1992 from Southeast Missouri State.
Roberta is a charter member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and has served with distinction in various positions with the Missouri Association of Home Health Agencies.
Vicki Moore, RN is the Director of Nursing for Allen Home Care Services. Vicky received her Associate of Arts in Nursing degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Other members of the Allen Home Care Services administrative team are Case Coordinator Nelsa Perry and Customer Services Representative Terri Wallace. Allen Home Care Services has over 20 RNs and 50 LPNs in its employ. Another 20 Certified Nurse Aides are employed by the company.
The medical director of Allen Home Care Services is Dr. Kenneth Stone, MD. He is a family practice physician in Sikeston, Missouri.

You can reach us by telephone by dialing either of the numbers below. Our offices are open weekdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm (US Central Time). When our offices are closed, our phones are answered by a service, who then pages our on-call employees.
