Come and experience God's welcoming spirit! It is our pleasure to meet new friends each week in Bible Study and Worship.
Praise worship gatherings are Saturdays at 5:00 PM and Sundays at 9:15 AM, and worship with a more varied feel (including traditional) is offered on Sundays at 10:45 AM.
The technical "issues" for recording the messages and uploading to the website have reared their ugly head again. We ask for your patience (again) as we try to resolve these issues. Messages are still available on cassette.
This weekend (Nov. 13-14) we will continue a series entitled “Jesus' Women.” This series explores the stories of four women who are mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus. These are the great-great grandmothers of Christ whose compelling stories can be found throughout the Old Testament. Pastor Scott Killgore will teach this weekend and spend time with the story of Rahab, a prostitute whose faith and courage played a big role in the Israelites' ability to move into the Promised Land. What can we learn about our own walks with Jesus as we consider the risk she was willing to take? Her story is told in Joshua chapters 2 and 6.
Seventeen ministries set up display booths in our Social Hall and representatives met with Wyatt Park folk during our second annual Mission Fair October 23-24. The ministries range from a few that work inside our building, to others serving in St. Joseph, to mission partners around the globe. The intention of the Mission Fair is three-fold: 1) increase awareness of the varied ways Wyatt Park folk serve in Jesus' name and proclaim the Gospel, 2) inspire others to join in, and 3) raise support for the Mission Fund, which is used by our Mission Team to respond to unancitipated needs throughout the year.
The new Directories are finally here! If you were photographed, please pick up your copy in the Friendship Area.
Children's Clothing Source
Jacob's Closet is a ministry that provides clothing to children in need (infant through 6th grade) at no cost. We have restocked the shelves with fall and winter clothing but are low on sizes 5-6-7, both boys and girls, including jeans. If you have clothes to donate, you can leave them in the donation cabinet in the Circle Drive (south) Entrance. For more information or to make an appointment to visit the Closet, call the church office at 232-3374.
