All Dogs-N-Cats Grooming is a locally owned full service dog and cat grooming salon located in Columbia, Missouri. We have 3 groomers who between them have over 50 years of grooming experience. We have clients who professionally show their pets and clients who just want their pet to look and feel better as they roam the farm.

Grooming is an important part of your dog's health, with regular brushing and combing helping to remove dead hair and dirt and prevent matting. Dogs who are regularly groomed tend to have a healthier and shinier coat because it stimulates the blood supply to the skin.
Grooming your dog can also be a good way to bond with your dog, and it's important to get him used to it from an early age. Many dogs learn to see their routine brushing as an alternate petting, another source of affection and attention. A good quality brush and comb will help you with your dog's coat, but also remember that your dog's eyes, ears, and nails require attention as well.

Be sure to keep your dog away from holiday treas, such as, chocolate, tea, and coffee which can be very harmful to your dog's ingestion and nervous system!
Holly, mistletoe, hibiscus, and poinstettias can be harmful to your pet if they are ingested. So be sure to put these festive plants in an area that your pet can't get to!
Be sure to keep candles in high places to avoid those waggy tails or curious cats from knocking them over!
For outside dogs, be sure to keep a covering for them that is out of the wind and also has insulation for those cold, windy, days.
For indoor dogs, constant warmth may dry out the dog's coat and can cause dandruff or dry skin. Dogs may still shed even when their winter coat is in. So be sure to still keep your dog regurlary groomed to protect their skin!
Some dogs are less active in the winter, so their food may be adjusted to reduce their calories and avoid that extra weight.
