Thank you for visiting the UFDC website. The study of dolls is truly the study of mankind. Few artifacts reflect our history as accurately as those of dolls. From food to fashion, dolls and their accessories provide a fascinating window to the past and provide a record for the future. Doll collecting is one of the three largest hobby groups in the world, vying with stamps and miniatures for first place.|

The site is an interactive, changing view of the doll world, where new technology is constantly being adapted to meet the growing needs of the membership. For current events, go to the UFDC Calendar and click on an event listing to get more detailed information, Each event has the Regional designation before the title so that you can find the location at a glance. Click on the event for more data, print out the event information, and leave a reminder for yourself !

To keep tabs on what is happening in your Region, go to the Regional Map and visit your Region's web pages for current events and the Regional Newsletter prepared by your Regional Director.
If your Club is planning an event, check the UFDC Calendar and talk to your Regional Director to make certain that your plans are not in conflict with another nearby event, and to see that your activity gets listed on the UFDC Calendar and your Regional Pages.
UFDC Doll Chat lets you chat live with other members of Federation. UFDC Doll Chat is open to everyone. Gather members of your club and schedule a meeting online, or meet with your club officers to work on a project. Pick a time to have an online meeting with a friend, your club, or a mixed group. Watch for scheduled UFDC events in the Chat Room. There will be mini-seminars, hosted discussions, and other opportunities to meet your UFDC Officers or Regional Directors online. DOLL NEWS is our Official Publication. Did you know that you can purchase back issues of DOLL NEWS? Many issues are still available. If you missed a pattern or paper doll, or need an article for research or just to keep with your doll that is "just like the one pictured in that issue," check with the central office to see if it is there. DOLL NEWS is your source for the latest information about doll collecting. Stay informed
Unity's News is a very important tool for UFDC members. It provides Federation updates between issues of DOLL NEWS so that the membership can be kept informed. Be sure to read it!
Online Shopping lets you find a special gift for a doll friend, grandchild, club member or anyone with the imagination and joy in living to appreciate the wonderful things you can find in Federation's shop. Visit the online shop and look at the inventory on the virtual shelves. An enjoyable tour that can provide hours of doll related enjoyment to collectors. Dolls, books, and a multitude of imaginative presentations for your perusal. You can even become a new Member-at-Large or renew your current UFDC Membership online.
Some of the forms and pages stored on this site are PDF (Portable Document Format) files. These files are highly compressed (to save on download times) while keeping all of the same formatting as the original document. If your Regional Director has put your Regional Newsletter online in PDF formatting, you can print it out for your own use, or make mulitple copies for your club.
