Time:2-4 p.m.
Skills Needed:desire to learn
Explore the exciting possibilities of beaded knitting. We'll make the "Beaded Diamond Shawl" and add beads with a crochet hook as we go.
Date:Tuesdays, May 18 & June 8
Time:5:30-7:30 p.m.
Level:Beyond Beginner
Skills Needed:knit, purl, cast on, bind off
Learn to make basic socks using our versatile sizing technique. This class will teach you how to turn a heel without tears and graft the toes of your socks using Kitchener stitch. Once you've mastered your first pair, you can use your new knowledge and this pattern to knit socks for everyone in your family.
Date:Saturdays, May 1, 15 & 22
Skills Needed: knit, purl, using double points
Slouchy hats are fashion forward this summer. This would be a good beginning lace and knit in the round class.
Date: Tuesdays, May 4 & 11
This class is a combination class to teach you entrelac, shaping and felting. AND, you'll end up with a great bag for yourself or to give as a gift.
Students who have not done entrelac are encouraged to take the Easy Entrelac technique class before taking this class.
Date:Sundays, May 30 & June 20
The Badia Vest is a great first garment that also includes a little lace and cable to keep it interesting.
Date: Thursdays, June 10 & July 1
Skills Needed: knit, purl, cast on, bind off
Class space is limited. Pre-registration and payment is required. Missed classes may be made up at a later session if the same classes is offered again. If you wish to make up the class as a private lesson with the instructor, the private lesson fees will incur.
Fees listed are for the complete class, including all sessions and do not include materials or patterns unless noted.
Class fees are refundable if you cancel within 5 days of the first class.
Hillcreek or the instructor may cancel the class for lack of enrollment, and your class fee will be refunded.
We offer classes for all skill levels, but not every class is designed for every level. To ensure that everybody get the most of the class, please respect the skill requirements listed for each class.

We will be offering a Knit-Along in May. Those who complete their projects with the chosen patterns and yarns will be eligible to win a basket that Classic Elite Yarns has created for HYS over $200!! We will be announcing this next week.
