Non Healing Wounds…
If you or someone you love has a wound or sore that hasn't healed significantly in a month's time, or hasn't completely healed within two months, you should talk with your doctor about a referral, to Laura E. Holmes, M.D., at Continental Wound Center. Dr. Holmes specializes in the treatment of non-healing, or "chronic" wounds and is dedicated to providing high-quality care with the mission of returning the patient to normal life as quickly as possible. A physician since 1988, she is the only physician in southeastern Missouri who is Board Certified in Hyperbaric Medicine. She is one of only three Missouri physicians who are Board Certified in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine, a form of treatment that takes place in a specially designed chamber, greatly increasing the oxygen in the blood supply and speeding the healing process.
