Mayor's Welcome Message
On behalf of the City Council it is my pleasure to welcome you to the City of Arnold, Missouri. We are happy you found our new website. I hope that you will use this electronic forum to learn more about our fine community.
Incorporated in 1972, Arnold is a growing and prosperous city of nearly 25,000 people located in the St. Louis Metropolitan Region. Situated along Interstate 55 at the confluence of the Meramec and Mississippi Rivers, Arnold is a suburban community, so close to it all. Whatever you are looking for is within reach: hiking or fishing in our many parks and rivers, exploring our rambling Ozark countryside, and a host of activities, culture, and dining experiences are all right here. What’s more, the lights and attractions of St. Louis are just a few short miles beyond our borders.
Arnold is nestled in beautiful rolling hills of Jefferson County, safe and secure. Arnold boasts a fantastic small town atmosphere where neighborhood barbeques and school carnivals still fill your weekends and evenings. Our community has award winning schools, a diverse group of churches, and a variety of recreational activities. Arnold is a great place to work, live and play. Please scroll through the many pages of information and events on our website. It details our city’s commitment to openness, involvement and community pride. Thank you for visiting our website. ~ Mayor Ron Counts
