Welcome to Bankhead Orthodontics. Dr. Bankhead, Dr. McDermott, and Dr. Rodabough are board certified specialists in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Since 1973 we have been building a reputation of exceptional orthodontic care, especially when it comes to kid's braces. Although we are very proud of this tradition of excellence with our young patients, we want adult orthodontic patients to enjoy the same level of care. For those adults who do not prefer the look of traditional metal braces, we offer more discreet options for adult braces. Our clear braces are made of ceramic and will not stain or discolor. Invisalign® is an option that uses invisible aligners to straighten your teeth. You can even remove the aligners yourself whenever you want. We also offer SureSmile®, a type of braces that are made using robotic technology. These are wonderful braces for adults because they can shorten the patient’s treatment time while reducing the frequency of adjustments and office visits. They also tend to be more a more comfortable type of braces.
