As the summer heat gives way to colder autumn/winter weather, remember it is important for dogs and cats to remain engaged in activities.
- Adult dogs require 30 mins of aerobic exercise two times per day. Take your pal to the dog park, for a walk, or, if you can't get outside, playing fetch or tug-of-war will do the trick.
- Cats need exercise too. Playing chase or fetch or using a laser pointer will give your feline friend much needed exercise.
- Make sure your pet eats meals that are healthy and well-balanced; and that he or she gets annual preventative veterinary care.
At Barrett Station Veterinary Clinic, we strive to provide our patients and their owners with high-quality, compassionate veterinary medicine. It is our belief that excellent communication is the key to achieving this goal. Your pet is a member of your family and he or she deserves only the best veterinary care.
Our goal is to supply you with top-notch tools, resources and medical management to keep your pet healthy and happy for years to come.
