Located atop a secluded hill, Penrod's View Guesthouse is a charming getaway. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend away from it all or for a restful & relaxing stop after a day on the Katy Trail, Penrod's View Guesthouse is the perfect destination.

Your stay begins as you are welcomed by a bottle of wine and snack tray. After that it is up to you. Sit back and relax on the wrap-around porch or soak in the claw-foot tub and wrap yourself in our his & hers robes. Make yourself at home in the kitchen where you will find a microwave, refrigerator and coffemaker with complinetary tea & coffee or relax in our classic & comfy Living Room. Mornings are off to a great start as you are greeted by juice and our famous breakfast casserole or, if you prefer, fresh fruit & baked goods.
You have your choice of either the Queen Bedroom or the Full Bedroom or both. Either way the whole house is yours for the duration of your stay with us. There is no minimum stay required and, of course, children are welcome. Please see our Contact & Rates page for more information.

We are located atop a secluded hill in McKittrick, Missouri. McKittick is just 3 miles North of Hermann and three-tenths of a mile off of the Katy Trail. Hermann is a mere 90 minute drive from Downtown St. Louis and about 3 hours from Kansas City.
Hermann plays host to many spectacluar views, world class wineries, museums, shops, nearby golf, the Katy Trail and many restaruants & festivals.
