Canedy Sign & Graphics Acquires General Sign
The Canedy Group of Sikeston has purchased the former General Sign Company in Cape Girardeau. General Sign, 4857 Nash Road, employed 31 people when it closed in June.
Canedy Sign manufactures and installs several types of signs including vinyl graphic decals, banners, LED signs, billboards, monument signs and pylon free-standing signs.
The company will continue to operate its original location, at 18023 U.S. Highway 61 South in Sikeston, but also will now provide sales, manufacturing and installation services at its new Cape Girardeau location. Canedy Sign also has a third location in St. Louis.

Serving Sikeston and the surrounding area since 1937, Canedy Sign & Graphics has become the preferred supplier for schools signs, church signs, bank signs, and business signs of virtually every type. With the addition of our mobile LED Display in 2007, getting attention is now easier than ever.
