International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
Sunday, December 5th, we will once again see adults and children follow the Lord's example by making a public testimony of their faith through baptism. This will happen in both the English and Spanish services of that day (10:15 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., respectively).
Baptism is a public ceremony commemorating the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ - plus, it's a step of obedience, since Jesus himself commanded it. If you're made the decision to become a Christian but have never been immersed, you're welcome to do so on that day as well. Please discuss this with the pastor or one of the elders ASAP if you'd like to participate on the 5th.
"We have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life." - Romans 6.4
Saturday, November 20th, KHBCers will be out on a portion of HWY 752 to pick up trash. This is our quarterly participation in Missouri's Adopt-a-Highway program. We need your help! Trash bags and some other tools will be provided. We're meeting in the church's parking lot at 7:30 a.m.
The more volunteers we have, the faster our work will be done. C'mon and pitch in to be a good steward of our environment and help keep our city clean.
Our Children's ministry offers fun and educational opportunities for kids 1st-6th grade to learn more about God. Weekly meetings, Vacation Bible School, Children's Camp, and more! More
Our Youth Group (grades 7-12) is an energetic, intelligent, and fun-loving crowd. They have a separate website where students can get info, see photos, and watch videos. KingHillStudents.org
