And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying... And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. Exodus 25:8
A synagogue that feels like home...
Congregation B'nai Torah is a Reform Synagogue, founded in 1984. Located in St. Charles County, Missouri, B'nai Torah has as its hallmark a warm, nurturing, and family-like atmosphere.
We welcome families and individuals to join our B'nai Torah congregation. From generation to generation, we are here to share and celebrate all of your life events and offer comfort and support through life's challenges. Our Temple will honor and respect your uniqueness and provide a home for your personal and spiritual growth.
B'nai Torah also has a Judaica library, Art Gallery, and a creative interpretation of the Western Wall. Tours of our sanctuary and temple may be arranged by calling or emailing us.
Our special Torah is one of 1500 stored in Czechoslavakia during the Holocaust and remarkably salvaged in London after World War II. It came to us at our founding and has been cherished and maintained in kosher condition, fit for services, since. When not in use, our Torah is housed in a beautifully hand crafted ark within our sanctuary.
We hold services the second Friday of every month at 7:30 PM which are led by our Spiritual Leader, Larry Comensky. One thing that our members look forward to at every service is listening to Larry's soulful voice while he leads us through the traditional Hebrew melodies. The children look forward to joining Larry at the bima, to dance and sing with him to Vishamru.
