Missouri Law Firm, Barklage, Brett, Wibbenmeyer & Hamill, P.C.
Barklage, Brett, Wibbenmeyer & Hamill, P.C., conducts an extensive civil practice in the Metropolitan St. Louis Area, including Federal Court, the City of St. Louis, and the Counties of St. Louis, St. Charles, Lincoln, Montgomery, Warren, Pike and Jefferson. The firm also handles matters in outstate Missouri and Illinois. Incorporated in 1981, the firm has maintained offices in St. Charles County, Missouri, since that time.
The firm's practice includes general civil litigation, workers' compensation (claimant and defense), products liability defense, personal injury (plaintiff and defense), liability defense, estate planning, trust and probate matters, real estate, zoning, general business law, corporate law, governmental law, taxation and administrative law. Litigation matters constitute a significant amount of the firm's practice, and firm attorneys appear with regularity in the state and federal courts in our practice locations.
The firm's philosophy is to provide the service levels normally associated with larger firms while maintaining the "small firm" relationships with clients that many have come to expect. To that end, the firm maintains a capable support staff that is large enough to ensure prompt, courteous client service at a reasonable cost. Because of our unique method of organization, we are able to provide services on complex matters at comparatively reasonable cost.
We have a broad client base, ranging from large national and international companies to closely held businesses and individuals. We also provide services to various local governments and their agencies, as well as certain charitable and not-for-profit organizations.
Several of the attorneys in the firm have background and experience in governmental and public service, including the St. Charles Community College District, as well as various state boards and commissions. Most of the attorneys have had practice experience with other firms prior to the establishment of Barklage, Brett, Wibbenmeyer & Hamill, P.C. All of the attorneys are dedicated professionals whose primary calling is the practice of law, but most find the time and resources to contribute to the community through various organizations, charitable institutions and citizen groups. Despite the firm's broad base of clients and experience, the attorneys do not attempt to be all things to all people. We recognize the benefits of attorney practice concentration in specific areas, and we have divided practice responsibilities among the attorneys to maximize efficiency and expertise.
